Background Information About Io

Io is one of the four Galilean moons of Jupiter. This is the fourth largest moon in the solar system. This moon has over 400 active volcanoes on it. This is the most volcanoes in the solar system. There are several volcanoes that are over 300 miles above the suface of the planet. There are also over 100 mountains on this mon. Io was discovered in 1610 by galileo.
